Engineers Attend Crash Course in Composites
NIAR is currently conducting a series of classes for engineers with Bombardier Learjet, to serve as an introduction to composite materials.
The Bombardier engineers will spend a total of 40 hours over 10 days learning from NIAR researchers and Wichita State professors through a combination of lecture and hands-on laboratory sessions. Topics covered in the course include:
During the course, the Bombardier engineers will each manufacture a composite panel, and will receive a certificate upon completion. This special introductory course was designed specifically for the engineers at Bombardier Learjet through a request from the company.
