CADFRP is an improved computer program to assist in the design and analysis of FRP vessels and piping. It enables designers and engineers to easily and quickly perform the many calculations involved in the determination of stress and strain values in the individual layers of FRP vessels and pipes. The capability to determine critical pressures for both the shells and heads, and critical thickness for each head type has also been incorporated. The program is based on laminate theory, as presented in Dr. Hoa's book, Analysis for Design of Fiber Reinforced Plastic Vessels and Pipings. Improved software for design and analysis of FRP pipes, tanks and other vessels; Enables quick calculation of stress and strain values in vessels and pipes and their individual layers ; Provides for use of a wide range of parameters of geometry, composition and loads; Materials properties database included; calculations can be made in metric or imperial units. System Requirements: IBM PC and compatibles only, DOS 2.1 and above. |
