This book contains the proceedings of the fifth Conference on Advanced Composites in Construction (ACIC 11) held at the University of Warwick between 6th to the 8th September 2011. The papers presented cover a wide spectrum of topics and are contributed by authors worldwide. They represent the current state-of-the art and indicate new possible directions and applications for using these advanced fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composite materials. The papers also highlight the gaps in current knowledge and lay out the challenges for the future development of the materials.
