Event Details

Institutional entity that groups the Argentine Plastic Transforming Industry and was founded on December 28th 1944, with clear and concise objectives: -To represent them and defend their rights; To manage before the authorities those measures that tend to preserve the interests of the sector; -To consider and solve all kinds of problems that affect their members; To establish worker-company bonds; To Foster the progress of the Argentine Plastic Industry. Today the CAIP represents more than 1300 companies of the Argentine plastic industry. The CAIP participates actively in different levels of management of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), currently wielding the Presidency of the Entity and integrating together with its “similar entities of the region” the Plastic Industry Latin American Association (ALIPLAST) where it is 1°Vicepresident.
The CAIP organizes every two years one of the most important international shows in Latin America Argenplás - Exposición Internacional de Plásticos (Plastic International Exhibition).  The CAIP promotes the transforming national industry and connects it with worldwide technology advancements in this event.
Its last three editions showed a constant evolution in the amount of exhibitor companies and in the total surface occupied. It is visited by a big number of national business people, as well as from Latin America and the rest of the world.
